Thank you God!

Just a thought for today…….

Thank you God!

Even though I don’t have much of anything else, at least I have lots of LOVE around me.

That’s the most important thing that anyone can have.  It’s not about monetary wealth or how many things you have.  It’s all about the love you have in your life.  There’s always plenty of that to go around.  So, whenever we feel that we don’t have enough to pay the bills or to buy that new car or a new house, just remember that we have one thing that can’t be taken away or replaced.  That thing is love!   Thank you God!

Find a Job You Love

Do you ever dread getting up every morning to go to work knowing that you will be helping make someone else rich, while you’re still struggling to make ends meet?   It seems that we are working harder for less and less pay.  It doesn’t have to be that way at all.  What if you had a job you enjoyed so much that it didn’t even feel like work?

What is it that you like to do?   I’m sure there are lots of things that you’d rather be doing than going to a job that doesn’t make you happy.  Why not check into ways that you can make a living doing something that really gives you a sense of accomplishment?  Maybe it’s something that you could do to be of service to others.  Spend a little time each day thinking about how you could help make the world a little better and at the same time, make a living for yourself.

I really think that if you are truly happy in all areas of your life,  it’s easier to be kind to others.  It seems that people are always rushing around, consumed in their own lives so much that they forget about the most important things.  I’m sure you’ve heard the expression “If momma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.”   The same thing applies to all of us.  Can you imagine a world where everyone was happier?   No one would ever think about hurting others.  There would only be love and kindness going around.

Just something to think about it.

Love and happiness to all!

Have you ever seen a more innocent face?

Gypsy

This is Gypsy!  Her name should explain everything since she was found running around in a remote area looking lost and afraid.  Rescuing her was not an easy task, since she wanted to trust, but was unsure of whether or not she could feel that way toward anyone.  I was determined to take her away from such a terrifying life of being alone and unwanted.  Trying everything I could think of,  it still  took  what seemed like forever to convince her that it was okay and that she would be safe.

Finally, after an hour or so of pure determination and help from some very kind people who happened to be passing by, she gave up and just laid there to be picked up and taken to her new  home.

She came home to lots of new friends…me, two dogs, and a cat, who all welcomed her as part of the family.

Gypsy is still afraid of strangers and bad weather,  but with lots of love and affection, she is finally becoming a happy and  much more secure dog.

You will, from time to time,  hear more about Gypsy and her brothers and sisters, since they have all made life very interesting and even challenging for me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.  That’s what patience and unconditional love is all about.

When you help someone else, no matter who it is,  it helps you feel good about your own life.  You realize that you are definitely here for a reason and that you are needed and appreciated more than you will ever know.

I’d love to hear your stories about pets and how they have made a difference in your life.

Peace and love to all,

Cindy

Love is what matters

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about patience and love.  These two things are  a very important part of living.  They go hand in hand, I would say.  Learning patience is not always an easy thing to do.  I know…..I’ve been there.   It really does get easier.

Laughter is the Best Medicine

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few weeks but I took a trip to see family and friends in my hometown.  It was great!  I always enjoy going home!    We had the best time, always do!

Just something for you to think about…….I like to find things to do that make me laugh.  It keeps me smiling and feeling positive.  Watch a funny movie!  I saw a really good one the other night!    Can’t remember the name of it right now, but just find something that you  like and notice how you feel afterward.  Another thing is to be around positive and happy people.  Guaranteed to lift your spirits!

That’s it for now, but I’ll be back soon.  Have a great day and be HAPPY!

Making Positive Changes

Practice replacing negative statements with positive ones each day.  Once you’ve begun to master this, try the same thing with your thoughts.  Be patient with yourself, it takes time, but it works!

Fear

Fear and love cannot live in the same place at the same time.  So, replace fear with love.

Today Is Your Day!

Today is your day, make it a great one!  Choose to be happy!  Do something nice for someone else with love and kindness in your heart.

Never Give Up

There are times when you feel that everything in your life is going so wrong that it will never get better.  Just so you know…..it always gets better no matter how hard it seems at the time.  The struggles in life happen for us to learn life’s lessons.  We become stronger with each and every struggle we go through.

Once the hard times are over, we realize that there are others who are going through some of the same things we had to endure, but this time, we are there to help them.  We’re able to do this because we know what it’s like since we’ve been there before.

So, when you feel like things are never getting better,  just know that they will and you’ll be that much stronger for it.   Never give up because there is someone out there who needs you now.

If I can be of any help,  feel free to leave your information for me to contact you.

Love and kindness to you all,

Cindy
